Visiting or living in Denver during the holidays? Here is my list of the top picks of where to see Santa and get a cute picture of your kids. All the Santa’s on this list are for a quick stop to tell him your wish list and get a picture…..they do not cost money or involve parades or dinner such as the Royal Gorge Santa Train.
NorthEast Denver: Bass Pro Shop-Northfield. The Bass Pro shop Santa is free and very popular. They have games and activities for kids and you receive a free photo with Santa. 7970 Northfield Blvd. 303.385.3600.
Cherry Creek: Cherry Creek Mall puts on a some great entertainment with their holiday Ice Palace. Santa visits are free and include a little gift for the kiddos. 3000 E. 1st Ave. 303.388.3900.
Downtown: Larimer Square. Santa has a sleigh near 14th and Larimer every weekend in December. Santa is available for visits every Saturday from 10AM to 6PM and every Sunday from 12PM to 5PM. You can also see him from 10AM to 3PM on Christmas Eve. A visit is free but you’ll have to take your own pictures.
Northwest: Flatirons Crossing. Flatirons is located right of Highway 36 and very easy to get to. Santa is open all of December and it’s free. No pictures are included so bring your camera. 1 W. Flatiron Crossing, Broomfield, CO. 720.887.7467.
Southeast: Park Meadows Mall. Santa is there every day in December and available for photos. Kids can also enter the best photo with Santa contest. 8401 S. Park Meadows Center Dr. Lone Tree, CO. 303.792.2554.
There are many places around Denver who have more elaborate Santas and include brunch or dinner, such as the Brown Palace, The Aquarium and several train routes, but this is my top where to see Santa in Denver list.
